Drawing workshop with Morten Løfberg

Sunday, May 17, 1–3 PM

Participation: 100 DKK

Join a drawing workshop with Morten Løfberg. Using a monochrome approach as our guiding principle, we will work with light, shadow, and contrast. We will draw from still-life setups using either colored pencils on paper or, for the brave, ballpoint pen—which cannot be erased.

Artist talk with Morten Løfberg and  long-table dinner

Wednesday, May 20, 6–9 PM

Participation: 225 DKK

Join us for an atmospheric evening with Morten Løfberg, where he will talk about the exhibition, the works, and the ideas behind them. You will gain insight into the process and reflections that are not immediately visible in the exhibition space.

Afterwards, we will set up a long-table dinner in the middle of the exhibition, including dinner and dessert—an informal and intimate way to experience art in good company.

SOLO EXHIBITION

MORTEN LØFBERG

'Bølgens Erindring'/ 'Memory of the Wave'

Saturday, May 2, 1:00–3:00 PM

Morten Løfberg (b. 1984) works with an exploration of existential emptiness through recurring motifs of jellyfish and mountains. The drifting jellyfish appear suspended in space — gathered yet disconnected — while the mountains stand side by side as solitary formations. Together they reflect a contemporary condition shaped by individualisation and distance, where connection is promised but rarely fulfilled.

Løfberg is educated printmaker specialising in silkscreen, copperplate etching and printed media in generel. He holds degrees from The Printing School, Frederiksberg, and The Danish School of Media & Journalism, Copenhagen. Read more about Løfberg here.

At the opening, musician Naim Nafar will create an improvised ambient sound piece, where reverberations, audience voices, and electronic tones are woven together.

We look forward to sharing this exhibition with you!

Cryptic Female Choice

A pop-op soloexhibition with Line Stramer.

The Egg decides!

Stramer explores and shapes the woman’s hidden world of selection, translating it into sensuous sculptures that spark reflection on the invisible mechanisms that form and create life. Stramer investigates the woman’s concealed choices: it is the female egg that determines which male will be allowed to fertilise it. The egg cell calls to the chosen sperm cell, thereby selecting—or rejecting—future life. An invisible selection and an optimal genetic match that shapes generations to come.
